MG Mosel Tour 2021

17.-19.09.2021

Insgesamt ca. 465 km in drei Tagen.

 … if Corona allows it:

The MG Mosel Tour 2021 !

After a quite boring MG year I’m brave enough to organise a weekend with you on the Moselle: like last year in the Weser Uplands, we will drive through different landscapes, see interesting things, and have a lot of fun together. Our base will be the Hotel Deutschherrenhof in Zeltigen-Rachtig, right beneath the High Moselle Bridge.

The plan for the weekend:

As ususal, the early birds will meet on Friday afternoon, with the exact place still to be disclosed. From there we will set off in the late afternoon to check in at our hotel “Deutschherrenhof” in Zeltingen-Rachtig.

On Saturday we will drive upstream the Moselle, only to go back east through the Dhron valley. The programme for the day includes an interesting visit and naturally a tasty lunch break.

The route on Sunday will take us through the northern Hunsrück mountains, only to return to the banks of the Moselle for lunch. Last but not least we will go on a short detour to visit the other grand stream before reaching Dieblich, where our traditional “Linner” will end the tour around 4.30 pm. Although the A61 motorway is just around the corner, an additional stopover night is also available at the final location.

A total of 465-ish kms (290 mls) in three days
